Should I go?

"Should I go?" Oil on canvas, 24 x 30 inches

Fall always brings its amount of schedules. We are psychologic living creatures so what's about this strong urge to accomplish so much before the end of the year? I don't want to answer that.
I'll work hard instead to finish what ever needs to. Most of it, I guess... A good part of it...
I started this painting during last April, now I can move on finishing another piece from the same period. I'm excited about putting these large works behind me, it will open a new space for what's growing up in my mind.

Have a great week!

Orion, set up no.1

"3 cups and a flame" ( Orion ) , Oil on masonite 7 x 9 inches
Private Collection

Summer is endind , so my favourite season is about to spread its beautiful colors, cool air and
melancholic cloud formations. Honestly, I enjoy every season ( as a kid, fall was my best time of the year but hated its 70's colors palette: orange, brown, yellow and red leaves, isn't it funny ? I was so excited to see empty trees before the first snow fall) and now in 2008 with climate events, they are all mixed up. The positive side is that this allows/ incites us to enjoy every minute knowing that we're not sure of what's gonna be next.

Have a great week-end!

Lying Over

"Lying Over" Oil on masonite, 7 x 9 inches

I almost called this one " Time Loop" cause I felt trapped ( in a good way) painting it. I never put so much details in a small piece like that. At the end, I am happy with this one but still will make
the effort to keep it simple on the next ones. Yeah, for sure...

Have a great week-end everyone!
