End of November, billions of snowflakes are dancing over the city. It won't last this time, but what a wonderful and magical foretaste for the first real snowstorm to come.
On our last visit to my parents house, I remembered of some old ornaments from the 50's wich were stored in the basement. I had this idea of a small series since a while. I was curious to bring back some childhood memories with a sober approach of the objects. I project to make 3 or 4 painting with these. You may have a look on the progressing series here: Painted Snapshots

I wish you a great week,
let it snow, let it snow...

Tattooed bridge (Fall Collection)

"Tattooed bridge" Oil on masonite, 9 x 12 inches

November. Here's another point of view of the same railed bridge shown in one of my last spring paintings "Rail Tour". Eight months later I was surprised to find- all over the place- that huge amount of colored layers, perfect match for its daily container wagons. The surreal mood of the whole scene enhanced by the graffiti seduced me, I couldn't resist to create something from it.

Thank you for your visits, comments and emails, they are
truly appreciated. Have a great week everyone!
